Closed Fist versus Open Hand

Closed Fist versus Open Hand

by | Mar 28, 2018 | Thoughts | 0 comments

Sometimes we hold on to something so much that it cannot blossom and grow —— we want to make sure we get it right —- we want to make sure others don’t take it in a wrong way, or go the wrong direction with it. So we hold on to it keeping it inside our closed fist.

We don’t realize that by doing this we are losing out in the potential, losing out on the value that it has.

It really only is in opening up the fist and letting it be in our open hand that it can actually blossom and grow into more than we ever knew possible. Giving it air to breathe and allowing the sunshine it needs. That is the only way it will ever really become what it was meant to be.

And when we see it in our open hand and exposed to all of those things we can see it really start to take form and grow into something more beautiful than we even imagined.

So today, give yourself permission to allow the freedom it not only deserves but that it actually needs to grow and blossom.

What is the IT you hold in a closed fist to protect and to keep safe? Perhaps it feels too sacred to let it go?  Notice that as you hold it so tightly you can’t even see it, nor can you enjoy it. Others cannot see the beauty of it.

Letting go is what will allow it to blossom and become all you really want it to be.

About My Life

Raw Truth

There is nothing better than living in the moment and being real. Life isn't always roses but the most important thing is how we look at our life and ourself.

I enjoy writing about things I am passionate about and not holding back.

Vulnerability is beautiful and not always easy, but it allows for some of the greatest blessings in life.

Somewhere in my 20's I discovered that other people feel a lot of the sames things that I do and the more open and vulnerable I am the more it allows for others to be the same.
